An Evergreen Construction
Master Bathroom in 2cm Emperador Dark marble.
The below information is for your convenience and reference. Please
feel free to call with any questions you may have! It is a good idea to
plan ahead since it may take a few weeks to work you into the schedule!
The Process of Granite & Natural Stone Countertops:
- Once stone selection has been decided and approved, we require a 50%
non-refundable deposit at the time of the signing to proceed with the order.
(Cash or check only please. We do not accept credit cards). At
that time, you will be placed on a schedule for getting templates.
- At the time templates are made, we will need to have your sink, faucet,
cook top, and any other accessories that will need stone cut for in our
shop. Make sure you plan ahead if you are ordering new items, since
they sometimes take 3-4 weeks to receive.
- The first draft templates are included in your original quote. Any
additional pieces or trips will be a minimum charge of $100. Is it a
good idea to be present at the time of template so that any changes can be
made at that time.
- Once templates are approved by you, we will pick them up and begin the
process of fabricating your countertops.
- In some cases, depending on the size of the overhang, extra support is
needed for the granite. It is the homeowners/contractors
responsibility to supply and install these supports. Midwest Granite
will let you know if they are needed.
- Please be advised, level cabinetry is the responsibility of the
homeowner/contractor, and Midwest Granite is not responsible for leveling
them during installation.
- Upon installation, be prepared for there to be dust and dirt afterwards.
We do clean up when we leave, however, when cutting on the job, it can be
messy and will need additional cleaning once we leave.
- Upon installation, you will need to arrange for a plumber or an
electrician to hook up any plumbing for sinks or electric for cook tops.
- Granite & other natural stones are products of nature and we cannot
guarantee color range, movement in patter, or natural marks in stone.
We recommend that you take a trip to our suppliers and pick out the slabs
you wish to use in your project.
- Once your counters are installed, simply follow our care suggestions and
enjoy your new, beautiful, natural stone counter!
